alright so i just finished my 2nd box with amp rack. turned out great untill i came to the whole smoothing and sanding, its a lot of work.. i mean a lot. So i ended up wrapping it.. ill get picks...

could the speaker wire from the amp to the sub effect anything? i mean could a lower guage IE like 12 gauge or anything help it out much?

alright got a multimeter.

one side reads about 3.4 ohms
and the other reads about 3.1 ohms
each coil is 4 ohm...
when wired in parallel... at the wire where it goes into the amp it reads...

nope i did it like you said i looked at the info sheet that came with the sub to make sure its got two of those push down type connecters i guess you would call it. i have a + going to a + than a...

yes my HU has a sub control from 0-15DB or whatever it says
and than it was a regualer bass adjustment from -7 through 7

when i use the sub control and put it to zero and do the voltage to 4 i...

alright i've never really understood how you come to decide what amp kit/fuses and cables you need for your amp.
