i had a fun time about 2 weeks ago; i live in slc utah, and one of my favorite things to do is do some spirited driving in the canyons around here. mind you that i dont when there is traffic. at all. Anyway, i was headed uphill going to park city on I80 from slc and there came this blue mid 90s dodge neon sport 2dr with a muffy and slammed on cut springs, by the way his car was bouncing on bumps it had to have been scary as all hell trying to keep up with me the way he tried. so anyway, he kept revving me all the way up the canyon, passing and slowing and ****. im not stoooopid, i dont want to blow my car in an uphill dick race so i just stayed nice and speed limit till we hit level ground past park city. this idiot stayed with me the whole way wanting to race. i slowed to 25mph and so did he, we dropped it and i instantly started to pull him, it was no contest. i backed off at 110, didnt want to rag the **** out of my car anymore and i was about a football field ahead of this dick, he comes right back on my ass doin the same thing again. we did this 3 times and he still played asshat to getting dusted! what a punk, i hate neons. and srt4's are still neons. That day made me love my car even more than i did. 91 CRXsi with zc sohc non vtec, bosal 2.5 exhaust, flowed cat, dc header, egay intake, skunk manny, skunk 60 tb, want to add t25 turbo next.

Dont know if thats a typo, but its damn funny. I would like to know how you "know 100%" there is no traffic.......even so, just because there isnt traffic, does make it safe. Take it to autocross or something before someone gets hurt.

Yea an SRT4 may be a neon, but it's a neon your little 110hp hatch will be seeing alot of tailpipe from.

He's making significantly more than 110... Not enough to spank a Neon yet, but with a turbo it could be done. But that doesn't change anything about SRT-4's. They're still pieces of s**t.

I dont know, maybe it is a unique oppinion to me. But I just don't call a car a POS that is significantly newer, nicer, and faster then my car. It's like the pot calling the kettle black.

I don't like the 05 SI hatches, they look like little mini vans to me. But you will hear me say one is a POS

i dont think anyone should be hating on cars... we are all car tuners and to each his own.. as long as it has power or looks..or both

the only thing thats good comming from dodge.. is a hemi:) sooo unless ur neons got a hemi.. better start praying around 70k..

and the si hatches are yucky cars... the new type r's have my distaste too..and all the 7th gens.. i dont like the big ass headlights

its just personaly prefrence..just because something might be faster then your car dosent mean you have to respect it , might be faster,but hondas have better reliablity!:D

my friend just bought an 05 neon and the damn thing sounds like its going to blow every time she drives it... 15k on the clock and **** is already going wrong with it. lol:D

Actually, the neons to have a hemispherical head design... but then again so do most cars out on the road now. Its pretty common and the new "Hemi" that dodge is making is really just a ploy to sell more cars... truthfully, its a bit of a rip off....
