Default 52mm gauges

Hey everyone,

I'm looking to install some gauges in my 98 AT Civic DX. What gauge pod would you guys recommend? I've seen A-Piller, Dash, and ones in the cluster.

As for the types of gauges, which are the most useful? I don't have a turbo or SC so I really don't need a boost gauge. I would really like to put in a 52mm tach and maybe 1 other gauge like air temp. Are some gauges easier to wire than others? Any DIY's in this area?

All help is appreciated

its all about preferance for were you want them mounted..my preferance is the A piller, you want a tach and and it all depends on what you want to moniter most..i have a volt gauge to monter if i have my car off and my system on, and oil presser because you can never go wrong with that..like i sead it all depends, and for wiring, yes all gauges are different to wire..even by brands, most things are the same tho...i dont think theres any DIY, but tacks are easy..volt meter is easy..umm go to autometer.com and they have a instructional page on how to wire up all there different gauges, it will give you a idea of how to wire them up and all the different gauges you can get

I second this move! I had to tie-in a tach monitor wire for my remote start and after it was all said and done...going through the firewall and tappin in to the above wire was easier than finding the right wire under the dash (which I obviously never found!!!)
