Default took altima and stratus

yea im in chicago right now and last i went to gamestop to get Mark Eckos new graffiti game and in the parking lot was a gold dodge stratus with bodykit and huge wing and ridiculous chrome rims, next to it was an equally riced altima, and when i walked to my car they reved at me so i pulled up to them and said said that they were acting like they wanna race and they said because they did . so we pulled out of the parking lot and went down ELMHURST Rd, if you dont know chitown...it's 3 lanes, turn lane, then 3 more lanes. so we drove slow to a light til it turned red. went on green pulled on stratus bad, killed him, double clutched to 3rd pulled on altima, DC to 4th got him by a bumper through the next light. then my girlfriend punched me in the arm for "acting like a douche bag"

ok well if you look up double clutching on the internet you will find some ramble about between shifting putting the lever into neutral, for .3seconds, to let the engine revs match the transmission revs. blah blah...my take on D.C.ing: between accel in gear A: press clutch, Blip gas pedal, Shift to gear B, let off clutch. Bada Bing Bada Boom
correct me if im wrong

You don't need to double clutch, you have synchros.

It is easier on the synchros if you double clutch...

You are missing one step, where you release the clutch and repress it. It goes clutch down, shift to neutral, clutch up, clutch down, into gear, clutch up. It is easier on the tranny, but it is slower. The only people I know that do it are the guys that are truck drivers, because they have to, but each to his own.

i tried D.C'ing in my CRX, and it actually helped me, i was able to accelerate alittel faster, but i dought i would ever try it in a race, it takes to long, it is alot easier to shift fast!!!! nice kills tho!!!
