Hey guys. Is there anyway to tell what year a JDM engine is? I recieved a JDM B16, I was told it was a 99-00 model. But as we all know the JDM don't have a number after the engine code.

Just asked the car was stored during winters and driven on mostly on weekends. No re-built and I rechecked the engine again with no leaks at all and all timing belt sounds really good.

I don't know what the average compression test for a 98 GSR should be but yeah I got

Finished

Compression tested from 245-250.

I might jsut take the engine out and swap out my B16 if everyone thinks it's a good buy. Plus will the integra back rotors work for a drum->rotor...

Woot found my B18C1! I get the whole car(meaning plus chassis) but just that it was in a accident and the driver side doors are trashed, the engine is still good with no leaks btu with 115,000 miles...

I am currently running a B16A2, dish out the extra 400 and get the OBD1 and stay away from the OBD0.

B16 is an awsome engine why not get a B18C1?

nay for the lip... I guess everyone has their own taste. The only lip I personallylike is the96-98 CTR lip and that is it lol.

From personal experiences, you won't notice any difference from a CAI or a SRI, maybe the sound because the CAI is farther from you and you can't hear is as well as the SRI that is pretty much right...
