you where actually using the LEDS in series (as the fuse), by connecting it in the two fuse holes, defenatly change that, thats why they where going dim and bright, depending if you had the handbrake...

to get the full 500watts RMS, you need to connect them in series, the positive of one sub to the other subs negative, then the other terminals remaining (one from each sub) needs to be connected to...

yes you need the converter, but NO you do not need to dissasemble the PS2 slim, the converter plugs right into your PS2 in the back where the original PS2 transformer plugs

is this a ps2 slim? if so, you don't need a inverter (waste to convert 12V DC to 120V AC, then the PS2 slim has anothertransformer that brings it back down to 8.5V DC), they have a 12V DC adapter...

instead of buying an expensive monster batterry and battery charger, you'd be better off buying a power supply....it would be cheaper and cleaner looking....
