Pics of a build me and a buddy are doing
It is coming along pretty good, this is the most extensive build I have ever took part in. Everything on the car is ready and waiting for the power. Rear disc conversion, slotted rotors all the way around, eibach suspesion setup, 3 inch exhaust, the car nolonger has the factory engine wiring harness as it has all been wired with the EMS. The car is ready and just waiting. The motor itself is setup to withstand upto 40psi from a gt40 turbo but it will not see that, it may see 30psi from a gt35 on a dyno run or two.
After this car is done we are going to start on my civic hot and heavy. After we get my civic done by around next spring we are going to try and open a place of our own. We are getting our cars up to a certain level and then let the cars speak for our work and abilities.

I got a question for you. How hard is it to put a engine together to run high HP. I know how to put an engine together and take one apart, but i haven't made an engine actually work. Do you have to do anything special to the pistons/rods/rings/bearings before installign them? Do you have to do real precise measurements when installing stuff?
i think the Ralliart Eclipse concept that made the SEMA circuit a few months ago had an EVO drivetrain, but mitsubishi said they weren't going to make it.
I guess Marty made it a moot point.

Well not really but I recomend to do precise measurements no matter what kind of engine you put together if you want it to last. Kinda like the measure 3 times cut once thing applies to everything I do as far as cars go. To me you just need to be very up on clearences, tq specs, and know when to be gentle with a part and when you can "muscle" it in to place. There are alot of little things that come up out of no-where when building a engine and transmission from the ground up like when you get a engine bored it is recomended you have a deck plate, it is very very helpfull to know part numbers vs part names so when you do order be it from a dealer or a parts supplier you know your getting the correct part.
All in all it is a very tighty, gotta know your stuff thing IMO. You never want to go into doing something like this in a hurry if you are building it yourself. Take your time, learn as you go if needed, and for the love of god keep in good spirits about it because if you get mad/aggravated you get dis-couraged and that has no place around something like this IMHO.
Hope that helps ya if not fire away again as I dont mind trying to help

Yea why not, sleeves are overrated sorry but they are. They were running 30psi on the full-race Z6 with stock sleeves and that is on a open deck design which is tons weaker than closed deck blocks. It will only see 30psi on the dyno to see what numbers we can pull but daily it will be ran at 20 and maybe 25 at the strip.
here's the ralliart eclipse build information: http://www.automobilemag.com/reviews...ipse_ralliart/
I think i read somewhere that the drivetrain pumps out 400 bhp.
