Default damn rich kids...

so im sittin at a red light the other day, just mindin my own business. my whole stereo just got jacked so i had nothin to listen to. these younger rich little punks pull up to me with some rap blarin, just actin like some fools. he looks over at me and revs his i believe 04 GTO. i laugh and rev mine up a bit then nod at him. he nods back. light turns green.... he kicks my ass off the line, but when he was goin into 2nd he scratched the **** out of the gears, enabling me to get past him a bit... yeah he ended up kickin my ass anyway.

by the way, i was driving a 98 ex with weapon r short ram intake, dc headers and magnaflow exhaust. i recently bought a 99 SI. so maybe if i get another chance i can do a little better. little bastards...

Your 99 si could have had every bolt-on you can stuff into the engine bay and still would get beat by the GTO. They are like mid 13 second cars stock with a good driver and hold on if they are modded. Not trying to be an ass about it just giving you a bit of advice....if your not modded a good bit dont try.

Sorry if this comes across wrong, but why do you assume these kids are rich and spoiled because they have a nice car? I mean, if that is how you choose to spend your money as a kid, it doesn't take much. I could buy a GTO, because I don't have to pay for anything but gas, car stuff, some food, etc... no rent. That is not to say he is not spoiled or whatever, but I wouldn't assume anything.

well i see what youre sayin, but this is in Overland Park, KS, i mean theres rich spoiled kids everywhere, and this kid couldnt be older than 16 or 17 years old. Plus just with his attitude and everything thats just how he came acrossed, but i see what youre sayin i shouldnt be so judgemental.

yeah now that i thinka bout it, id prolly have to have a damn turbo on mine to keep up with him, pride is a bitch sometimes eh? lol

I'm with you though skimmy, it does suck when you don't have much money and you try to do everything you can afford to make your civic sweet, and then some privileged or financially stupid kid pulls up next to you in an expensive factory fast a hell car and smokes you. And chances are that all he knows about his car is that you put your right foot to the floor and the car goes fast. He is not sure how it goes fast, it just does in his mind, ex: (he couldn't even drive the car missing 2nd). But don't worry one day those kids' loans and cash flow will run out and they will be in huge debt working at McDonalds. And you with your college education will have a big house, your BMW and money to build the civic of your dreams. "Good things come to those who wait." Alright I'm done rambling and bs-ing now.

The new Skyline will have to contend with the Z06 which is a tall order.
