Hmmm.... I might have to try some of that PPC perfect detail along with some Meg's final inspection. I'm always down for trying something new. If I bought on impulse everytime I wanted to try a new product, I'd be flat broke. But I need to build back up on my detailing supplies anyway.

So one other thing I notice with the BM is that it left specs on the surrounding plastic. My bike has a lot of flat black plastic parts around the glossy painted panels and the wind carried it onto the other panels (similar to that of tire dressings). I've not had this problem before with any of the others. So here is a break down from my favorite to least favorite.

1. PPC
2. Meguires
3. ICE/BM too close to call
4. 3M
5. Car Brite
6. Wizards

PPC is hard to find and is not cheap...which is why I usually end up using meguires but the ppc works great...takes off bugs pretty good too. Here is the link to their website if anyone is interested.

PPC

Hope this helps some noobs.

Which Meguirs is best? The NXT in the purple bottle, quick detailer, or final inspection?

So I ran out of my Meguires detail spray on Friday and I decided to go out of my way and drive to the wholesaler that sells PPC. I picked up a gallon of it...OMG! Why I ever stopped using this stuff I have no idea! It's not that it makes the car shine anymore that the others but it's so easy to use and the best part, IT REMOVES BUGS! Now I'm not talking about bugs that you've left on the car since your last wash a month ago but it does take them off if they're not baked into the paint. I you can afford the extra cash I recommend giving it a try.
