well you would probably have to look at the tasts on both subs and see what the differences are, but the 400 rms would be louder

Theres no replacement for just getting plain old good quality equipment. So for that fact id go with the memphis. I've heard a couple sets of them and they sound nice. But if your just changing the brand of subs, and running them on the same amp, theres not going to be too huge of a difference. The company should have a rating of how much SPL is created at 1 watt for each though if you really want to get specific. Most companies have that. The rms a sub can handle has no difference on how loud they play, just how loud they CAN play. The amps what you have to worry about

Yes sir, but if your getting really indepth into your system and want something specifically designed for your car, check the frequency that the box should be made to too, and make sure that its somethin in the 40s or 50 Hz range (which most now a days are) since thats where alot of music plays, but as far as just throwin one in a prefab box, the 93 DB one is going to technically be louder

[no]

Sensitvity means nothing without taking into consideration the T/S parameters of the subwoofer.

If you build a box in the 40/50 hz range you are building a wonderful one note wonder fart machine. Yes I know Best buy pre-fabs are tuned to this and frankly my previous statement applies.

To answer the original question get subwoofer that will better fit your install. If you are putting them in a sealed box, then get the subwoofer that plays best in a sealed box. Or imo, get a single subwoofer that will play the full 300 watts, will probably sounds better then two subs receiving half their RMS
