I currently have one basslink II providing my system with nice, smooth bass but now I'm wondering if running two would sound even better (and look cool too). How would the bass output from two basslinks compare with two regular component 10s in a box. Basically i want to know if it'd be worth it to get another basslink for the extra bass or spend that same amount of money on two completely new 10s.
From experience installing the basslink I think you would be better off with two tens in a sealed box with a small amp. I have never been impressed with those contraptions and have found you can get much better sound for an equivalent amount of money by going with separate sub/box/ amp type setups. And like Remmy said you are going to have cancellation issues with two Basslinks in the vehicle. I would say go with separate subs and amps or just do a single 10 in a vented enclosure.

You said you wouldn't know but then said two basslinks would be louder with apparent certainty...maybe contradicting wasnt the word. Anyway, i just feel bad about ditching a $300 basslink within a few months. I don't think i'd be able to sell it for more than $150 and i hate wasting money like that. Thanks for the advice though, feel free to saya nything else.
