Of course you could easily get 2 subs in a box louder than two basslinks... really it was a broad question and I gave a closed answer without explaining really. The bass link is more 'set it and forget it" kind of thing. It also looks better IMO.

I'm with sillyredcivic. With my experience with the basslink, i'm not to impressed. So adding another one, prpbably wouldnt be the best idea. I can pick up a package on crutchfield for 2 10's and an amp or 2 12's and an amp for somewhere in your price range.

Well then in that case, click this and click this They both have Remmy's stamp of approval... and thats very hard to get. Check out my DIY on that particular sub.

Don tlet the price on the subs fool you. You will be getting them direct. They would easily be $250 each through retail marketing. Also, I highly advise you run those subs in a sealed enclosure because they are SQ to begin with. They also feature aluminum cones.

well i'm not going to lie, i'd be very skeptic buying a "daytona" sub, i've never heard of the brand, but i suppose if they have your stamp of approval, they're probably spectacular. about my other earlier question - what are you supposed to look for when looking for an amp to run with subs...rms? watts? ohms? WHAT DOES IT ALL MEAN?!? thanks

the basslink is a sub/amp combo...unless you mean just adding a totally separate sub and amp. It's too bulky to put anywhere in the cab without getting in the way. sometimes i just put the seat down but it doesnt do much. i dont know what you mean by small shaker thing...

He's talking about Auro bass shakers

They shake to simulate the feel of bass, but don't produce sound. That Daytona is so far out of the league of that basslink it isn't even funny, you would not be dissapointed
