i think the years that your looking for a 88-91, 92 wwas a different model... but i would have to say that if the interior is blue then go white outside, or Blue outside and have blue/blue, those would be your best options IMO

PURPLE, is your's a 92? cause 92 would be the exact same as my car(except mine is a 93) but it is white with blue interior,

Good choice on the color... and no for the love of god stay away from the neons.... *shudders* i can't even look at the cars that have neons flashing at car shows...
