Default Need Help

In my endless search to find after market parts for my new 04 coupe, I have found that as far as exhaust products go,(headers, cats, ETC...) these parts are only made for the ex models and not the lx. Will this make a difference and will these products marked for ex fit an lx?

I dont think they will fit since your LX is a non-VTEC.

I have a 98 LX......My friend has a 97 EX. This is the deal (if the 04's are the same).

You can use EX parts with slight mods. I have a complete EX exhaust setup (DC headersand Thermal stainless cat back) but it means changing to the EX cat (everything bolts up).

Intakes will require either finding LX parts or converting to an EX manifold which will costsome loot.

I had a 2003 Civic Lx but i had bought an 03 EX intake there is a difference between the LX and the EX in size of the intake on how long it is. I had to cut a portion if the intake to make it fit on my 03 because of where the trans was and from where the end of the intake stopped at. I hope that this helps you in a way and i hope that this makes sense. GOOD LUCK
