price varies and yes people do it all the time. i charge anywhere from $800 and up depending on the car and parts pricing at that specific time.

Default RE: Trani Swap

with my engine swap im getting done this week, im also getting an auto to manual conversion too, here's what Stage6 offered me:

my car is a 1995 Civic DX coupe getting a b16a2 swapped in it by the way...

Cable Throttle Type R 19.95
man to auto conversion, mount 92-95 civic and 93-97 delsol auto chassis 182.00
auto to manual conversion pieces (includes new pedals, slave cylinder, etc) 375.00
then the labor which was 1375.00
then FL sales tax 7%

my conversion for just the tranny was adding up somewhere around 2100 bucks, kinda expensive..

i didnt specify that well... the 1375 for labor includes BOTH the engine swap and the tranny swap, i currently have an automatic going to a 5 speed. sorry bout that, i believe the engine swap alone was 900 labor, then i guess the tranny swap is about 450 labor
