2002 Civic Lx w/ apexi turbo kit and universal exhaust or 97 Hyundai Tiburon w/ i/h/e w/ test pipe cams and some other stuff.

Some other stuff could mean a TON of stuff...Fuel management system, Nitrous, I dunno...you need to investigate a tad more...those Tiburon's can surprise anyone...I once saw one that was runnin' low to mid 13's and did not have that much mods other than a different Turbo and i/h/e and an aftermarket chip...

drivers race really, what boost is the civic running along with what turbo. The Tibby a V6?

it's a inline 4 and the civic is pushing the stock boost from the turbo. the drivers really raced.

the tib is just all motor with all bolt ons except cam gear.

well they raced and the tib killed him by a semi to a semi and a half.

to tell the truth I own the tib. the guy with the civic was cocky so i had to shut him up.

wait wait wait.. how can a civic run "stock" boost... it is NA in the first place, so wouldn't stock boost mean that there is not enough spool to even help the performance?

he means the turbo is at its stock boost, like 6 pounds...thats all...

stock boosyt is only 7-9 psi's. i raced my bro in law's civic with stock boost and he only beat me cause i had an extra person and miss shift and he knows it. he won't race me again. i run 14's all motor. i'm only in honda forums cause i used to be a honda guy.
