I was out cruising the main drag last night and found two races. The first was a 03 mustang gt. He had lowered the car and had a nice exhaust note but i don't know what else he had done to the car. He was pulling out of a parking lot and as I went by i made the blow off valve dump air. He was game. At the next light we ran, and i just walked on him after i got traction, I even feathered the throttle as i went by so i could wave. Thats when the real Mustang saw us racing. It was a 85 body style. He rolled up and asked if i thought i could beat a real mustang, so i was like lets go. First race he dropped first and got a half car on me, but even after boost came on i couldn't catch him, but i held even. So we ran one more time and it was the exact oppisite, I got a half car on him and held. When i ask him what he had, he said it was a freshly stroked 302 out to a 331. He said he had somewhere around the 400hp mark. He was very impressed with my civic and turned out to be pretty cool. On a side note my wife was in the car with me and you should of heard her yelling at me the whole time. She said thats why she didn't want me to have the car in the first place. Guess I'll have to be in the dog house for a few days, oh well.

hey there is nothing wrong with being in the dog house for a couple days. See now thats what i like about some domestic owners is that they give credit were credit is due and are complete a$$holes about it... my girl does the same thing sometimes but most of the time she likes the adrienaline rush

Nice kill! Glad the Mustang guy was cool....my "X" used to get mad at me when I raced with my '86 Monte SS.....lol, she hated that car!...probably because she came 2nd.

I'd rock a new Mustang GT, but not the pussy-mobile V6 model. And the 5.0 Mustangs make power pretty easy.

i dont know...you see mustangs and other domestic muscle cars can build up power really easy, but is it worth it when you rev past 6k and throw a rod because the engine was designed by a 5 year old...i accept the fact that without a tuned boosted motor i cant compete with them, but i am content in knowing that my car can rev to 7500, and not blow apart....
overall engineering PWNs power...
