Ok guys here is my situation. I have a 2001 Honda Civic Lx 2 Door 5 spd. I am really beefing up the engine anyway I can. But heres the thing. I am not able to do a engine swap. 350 hp is it possible on the stock engine. Tell me what I would have to do to get to it. Money is not a concern for this discussion I just want to know if its possible. Thanks
with money not being an issue im sure you could get there. but it would be easier and cheaper to swap in a k series and go after that goal. im curious though as to why a swap will not be considered?
$1500 and a small block Chevy will make that power[sm=joke.gif]

Soon to have ported Z6 head swap, Edelbrock throttle body, crower cam, and SI transmission.
so what are some of the things that I can do. Main reason I am not doing a engine swap is because I am not allowed to get one and dont have the equipment to perform one.
if money is no object then i would get some pistons/rods a pretty good sized turbo and some nitrious and that will probably get you in the 350hp range on like 18-22psi with like a 75 shot of n20

its not posibble on a stock engine. You're gonna have to beef up all your internals and run a good amount of boost. I would say between 15-25 depending on your cr. There's many other factors as well, well good luck. But like any other person would say, a sawp would be much easier. But yeah that sux that your not allowed to get one.
It's gonna cost you nearly $10k to get 350-400 hp outta that engine. Full engine internals, fuel system upgrade (including return fuel line), Top end work(valvetrain and pnp), you'll need an EMS and one hell of a tune. Prolly a couple things I"m forgetting...
well another guy is running 290 out of his D17, i think he said total cost of upgrades ran about 3 grand Here is the link So, i think you can do it, but he was talking that if you are gunna push out over 300 HP then you needs to start upgradin major stuff like tranny, drive shafts, ect.
