Default street racing??!

i got to ask i live in the uk and we have a fairly mild racing scene in my area. basically if you see a car slightly modded you both toy with each other but as its only really ever city driving it aint no all out racing its just whos quickest to the next set of lights etc, i just wanted to know what its like in the US? there is no love either for the other racer we dont wave or smile at each other later is it the same over there?

its weird here, because of the muscle cars... you just kinda stay away from them unless you have a turbo or nitrous. and depending on who you raced and if you won or not will depect if you wave to them and be freindly. a lot of my races take place on the interstate. we only have one highway. and its just 2 lanes untill portland. BTW i live in augusta maine. above boston about 3 hours.

Street racing kills innocent bystanders therefore it is gay.

You know why people street race right? Because they are worried that if on a actual track where they are being timed it will show the lack of abilities their car and their driving skills have. Real men race on a track, in front of other people who race....on a track, against cars that you have to beat with your driving abilities

Man, that's the best explanation for street racing I have ever heard!, you only have to add, these people have suicidal-homicidal tendencies!

i street race, but only on empty roads, and this is mainly cause i dont feel like driving 3 hours, wasting alot of gas, then racing, and driving back the same day...that is a good explanation for alot of people, but not me, cause i have good driving skills...and i like raing on reg. road, not on a drag strip, i've seen axels snap on that ****, cause the strip is so sticky...

Ok...good explanation on how you prefer to endanger yourself/others...good...[&:]
Oh and...good driving skills do not mean that you will never crash or hurt anyone...take it to the track and keep it safe...you'll thank me later on...
