ORIGINAL: 96civic285whp Nice pics! It really looks like a good clean install. When you paint your valve cover take a wizz wheel or air tool buffer and grind off the letters on it so they stay silver. I think that looks cool, but just a suggestion. I actually planned on doing that, I agree it looks sick! I may even get a little creative with the scheme this time, we'll see. I kinda have the urge to be a bit different

Looks great 40! Can't wait for the vids. And yeah, being a detail freak, I know it hurt to post that pic with engine bay dirty and we appreciate that sacrifice my friend. But we know you'll make up for it though...

best thing to do for your valve cover would be to just polish it and leave it unpainted IMO

ORIGINAL: Marty best thing to do for your valve cover would be to just polish it and leave it unpainted IMO meh, I'm not a fan of polished/chrome/shiney metal in an engine bay.. I'm working on some designs for it right now, we'll see what happens.. The heat shield is a good idea as well, I'll have to look into that. BAH, theres way too much stuff I want to do now that the bulk of the work is over...but I suppose I should probably finish the tune and get it running 100% again first eh?
