Default 7th gen Gauge Cluster Removal DIY by OpTiCaL

This was performed on a 2002 Civic Sedan.

1. Remove both screws in the top of the black plastic trim surrounding the gauges.

2. Now, pop out that piece. It will be kind of hard because there are two clips in the bottom, just pull kinda hard and it will pop out.

3. Now there should be 3 screws holding the gauge cluster in. I think its 2 on the side and 1 on the top.

4. Disconnect both wire clusters that plugin to the top of the cluster and pull it out of the dash.

5. Here is kind of the bitch part. Grab a standard screwdriver and pushdown all the clear tabs that suround the gauge cluster. I did the whole top first which made it real simple to get the bottom to slide right off.

6. Alright, it should all be apart now and all you gotta do now is not get it all dusty before you put it back together. Ummm, well i guess in this step you clean it.

7. Put the damn thing back together just how you took it apart!
