Probably somewhere around $8,500 not counting the car. That will jump when I start working on suspension and the like.

oh yeah...................F#CK the viper, cmon 20 valves??????? We have this thing called technology. VW 4 cylinders have as many valves.
new Viper has 40 valves and i like the idea of the civic, but the used SRT would own it in DRAG racing.

The Viper is a good example of why American cars are still incredibly inferior to Japanese and European cars.

And as for the SRT-4... tsk tsk, gentlemen.

actually we were both wrong (see link), but i was closer, heh heh. the laser was plymouth's, which shared the same platform with the eclipse in 1992 until eagle took over platform sharing in the next generation with the talon. dodge's version was called the daytona and it shared platforms with the laser before mitsubishi in the previous generation. the laser sported a turbo and pushed around 195 hp @ 6000 rpm in 1992. mitubishi also shared the 3000 gt platform with chrysler as the dodge stealth amongst other numerous shared platforms between chrysler and mitsubishi.

sorry sacicons, i just realized what you were saying its 6 am and i need to go to bed. ok you were saying the laser was mitu's technology right? so dodge cant claim any credit for it? heh heh, went over my head there. anyway i would agree on the eclipse platform. but the dodge daytona was on a completely different platform and i believe on a dodge designed drive train. it too was turboed but pushed 224 hp @ 6000 rpm.
