basically ive already posted a similar question but it jus made me more uneasy lol I want new rims and the situation is a 5 star and all season tires. Im not doin low pros cause of $hyty waeather, in the future it will b lowered. My question is without the lo profile tires...will 15's look good at all?16's?17's? lol 15's seem the best price and gr8 performance wise but i cant commit cause i keep thinking they r too small. if u have 15's plz post some pics i need a mental image to persuade myself. also plz post pics if ur tires are not lo profile thanx a lot
thanx mann that helps alot, it looks jus as good without low profiles and niice once its dropped wit 15's i must say i dno though, i really like the bigger wheels on civics i dno if ill b happy droppin 700 on somethin im not 100% happy with
I had NICE 17"s on my '02 Civic, but it just ride's smoother with 15"s. It is all about your preference, if you're not happy change it up! It's baout making your car really your's.
i got 17's with low pros on the. ive hit some nasty pot holes before and no damage. i would have personaly gone with 16's but the 17s were at a good price so i took thm

just got my lower profile tires on the front of my civic with my 17s.
i was gonna put them on the rear to match.... BUT my rear tires are good and dont rub at all!
so next week im just gonna have them rebalanced and rock em till they blow or look realy bad!
mainly i like how they fill up the fender gap realy nice! eventualy ill have em replaced... just not worried to much about them
I don't have pics, but I have 15s on my car with 195/50-15 tires on them. They really look ok, but I want to try some 16s with 205/45-16s. Just a bit more wheel and little less tire. Light weight wheels are a must for me also. I'll be getting some rota slipstreams after I pay some debts. 40 profile tires or lower look horrible imo, unless they're really wide, which they can't be to fit a civic. I would never go above 16s on a civic.
ive got 16's on mine, wrapped in 205/40/16's. the car handles and drives much smoother than what i had before, 13's wrapped in 175's, lol. car needs to be lowered a bit, i dont have any pics right now, but i'll be sure to show u if i get some. im very happy with 16's tho
