uh the z6 distributor wont even plug into his harness........unless you want to do some rewiring your best bet is to hack the upper distributor leg off and use a huge washer. unless you have fab skills then you can make your own mounting brakets. ive used obd0 distributors on z6 as well as the y8 heads. bolts up directly to the y8 head but needs to be modified to mount to the z6 head.

i went to rywire and the have obd2 to obd1(which i belive is the z6) dizzy wire harnesses. would that work? and what to you mean by choppin the upper leg off and usin a washer?

RE: z6 head

take the internals out of your Y7 dizzy and install them in the Z6 dizzy. The Dizzy/cap and all will mount up correctly and the wiring will match your harness plug in. It is what i did when going to my D15B.
