ya found the write up, acouple good ones . seems i can use my y7 ecu,just have to run the right wires. which means the ecu has the software in it to run the vtech just didnt need to add the wiring...

wat r the specs on your motor 4 comp test? cound be a bad seating valve? do a air leak test ,and see if u can hear were the air is escaping. good luk

sorry to hear that. oil is coming in from head or up through the pistons.if its from the head then maybe your valves seals ,but everyone? doubtfull.
every cylinder huh? cant be all the rings are...

i may be wrong ,but in order to raise compression, you want less gasket,not more. but maybe the new piston size is compensating for your choice in gasket size. just a thought.

try opening the the rad cap (cold of course) then run it 4 a while . have someone rev the motor ,if the coolant spills over when u rev it it means u have a head gasket leak, pretty sure it does...

well I played with the timinng both clokways and back, and did test runs inbetween. felt a little change near 3800-5000 rpm. (no timing mark on the pulley darn it. someone wrote to turn dizzy countr...

hi all ive read the diy forum,and still have a qustin, is the 2 prong plug in the ecu? i dont think it is but had to ask. the only 2 prong pug i have sits atop the ecu in a green rubber type casing...

junk yards are good,but there are local used parts dealers that carry them aswell.but idk were u r so look in your local phone book and call around to some of the used part dealers.its a start.
