Default 8.5mm Spark Wires

I'm sure this question is in the forum somewhere...

Anyway, I heard any spark plug wires bigger than 8.5mm (I see lots of 10.2mm) are going to strip performance. Is this true? Should I go with 8.5mm or 10 and up?

Thanks guys.

No one has any info on this? OK well you guys who have bigger wires (10.2, 10.3) how are they holding up? Better then stock? (I've heard people go back to stock after using big wires)

do 8.5 or 9mm wires, any bigger and you will prolly start losing spark strength. there are certain wires thicknesses for doing things like that, along with stereos and subs and such, too big of wire will lessen the voltage and too thin of wire and you would burn it up.
