Default Engine Rebuild #3: Casualties

Well, i think i found why i lost all my compression. Mother *#$*#$(*!!!! I hate this, think im getting somewhere and bam, somthing new comes along. Anybody know where i can get some PO8 pistons? I know people will say get Vitara, but i want to keep my compression up if not get more, but i know with the JDM D15, only VX and Vitaras will go in, and i cant find VX pistons.

I would contact Weisco and have them make you a set of pistons.

??? No idea, my guess is because i was untuned, it just got to damn hot in there. So, let that be a lesson for all you untuned people out there, do it right before you end up like me. I just dont have the money for weisco, i think im just going to get the vitara so i can have a working car again, ill miss my compression though.

Get these down the line.

http://www.hondaautomotiveparts.com/...TON-CRANKSHAFT

10.8ish:1 compression. PMS pstons out of 01-03 GXs.

And here's a handy calculator for that.

Are your cylinder walls ok???

I would magnaflux the head to make sure it's not cracked all to hell. High heat can cause tons of cracks (especially at valve seats) that you can't even see sometimes.

Hey, can anyone support this? At $30 a piece, theyre about the same price as vitara, and according to my computation, the compression is 9.8. Can anyone check me on this and let me know if these pistons might be a better way to go over the vitara? This has got me really excited that i can keep up my compression, and these pistons will go in my block without sticking out.
