my 96 nonvetc get around 38mpg thats with a 10 gal tank, intake and cat back. now the 06 ex/auto got 490 miles out of it with a 13.5 tank at speeds of 70 to 80 in threw mountains.

if u turbo it u'll save a ton of money...a k20 would be the step up for a 02 but be prepared to spend 15 g's...as far as the tran, unless it is screwed up the ex trans its the quicker of the two...

all 10 g's says to me is a k20 swap. shop around 10 gand should do it....i'v also seen a 96 hatch with the k20 an intake with exhaust smoke a wrx...nothing else done to it

if u have the right conects 2500 could work....but u could also do another swap being that all the parts are there to do it...say a b16a... thsts just my opina..........

my never did that but had a simler problem putting it in to second. new clutch fixed it but i know one of my secrods is out aline. 99 si i would asume u have around 100k or more. replace the clutch...

i use a 45 off in the front and a 40 in the rear...just cause i don't use a camber kit..
