(for those who dont know a mitsu GTO is a right driver 3000GT VR4) this kid at work just got a focus ZX3 with a supercharger intake and full exaust and said he could would smoke me. now my car is 320hp stock but wy sexy girl is more like 602whp totally rebuilt with a 6 speed vs a what mabey 250bhp focus 5 speed.now usually i dont race employees but he wouldnt shut up so yesterday on lunch we lined up at a light on green i put like 4 car on him by second gear so in 6th at around 155-160 i cant even see him so i got back to work and he comes up to me and says"hey bro i would have caught you on the top endif you didnt turn around" and he demanded "next time that i dial down the boost from 18lbs to 6lbs cause that all his car can push and i have to launch in second to even things out" i hate kids

Focus running a supercharger at 6 or 7 psi is only about 195hp at the crank tops. That's about 165hp to the front wheels. A S/C Focus with a good driver would be lucky to run a 14.9sec 1/4 mile. SVT Focus is 170bhp 141fwhp car and with a good driver would be lucky to turn a 15.4sec 1/4 mile. The Focus with the optional 2.3ltr engine is 144bhp 121fwhp and with a good driver would be lucky to run a 16.1sec 1/4 mile. A stock ZX3 Focus is 130bhp 108fwhp and with a good driver would be lucky to run a 16.9sec 1/4 mile. These cars weigh anywhere from 2,700 to 2,800lbs. Congratulations on beating a POS, the next time you see him tell him stick to racing stock Focus. I doubt he could beat a SVT Focus if a good driver was behind the wheel.
I know about about these cars because I considerred buying one and I currently have a Merc Cougar. They both have the 2.0ltr I-4 DOHC 16 valve ZETEC. And he never would've caught you at top end. A SVT Focus could probably do 155mph due to the 4.06 final, and the stock ZX3 Focus may hit 145mph because of the 4.10 final. That's if the factory speed governor was disabled. SVT Focus I think is set for 145 and the ZX3 Focus is set for 108.
^^^ Dude you need to watch your mouth, people post on here to get positive criticism, not straight downgrading, if you were that against it don't post, I admit 160 is pretty high but he did it, and now its over, its also his car and his problem if something were to go wrong....he doesn't need people posting about how stupid he is and what not, and that he didn't need to race, if he wanted to thats fine then he did, but it wasn't/isn't yalls decision at the least.

WRONG ! It's everyone's problem if something goes wrong! You kiddies should realize that the open highway is not GRAN TOURISMO and that there is no "reset/ do over" button.
