I am curious to know what will happen when I move my Si to Cali. I am moving it from North Carolina and I think my car only meets federal emissions since I did not buy it in Cali. Does anyone know the horrors I will have to go through when I move the car to the West Side?

I havent had to deal with that yet, but i think it should be fine since its a modern enough car. your best bet would be to call the DMV and talk to someone there. good luck with that. set aside a couple of hours, and mentally prepare yourself for the stupidity you will encounter.

Whats up Sacicons,
Finally moving the car to Cali in Dec. Should be there first week of Jan. Found out recently that my car is only 49 state legal but because I bought the car when I was on active duty I can still register the car. I have 35% tint all the way around going to see if i can run the gauntlet and get it registered without them telling me i need to remove it. Lucky for me there is a smog place right up the road from the house. OH I got the Viper 5000 alarm installed haven't had time to play with it but I am glad i have it, and a garage to safeguard it.
