Default fenderwell trim on my 98dx

The front right fender is missing the trim (new fender and paint from previous owner). I ordered a set of oem honda trim from ebay that attaches by slipping it inside the inner fenderwell. However now that I'm back home, I see the three pieces of trim on the car do not attach inside the inner fender so that's just friggin great. Guess its either clipped in the fender with some sort of attachments, or more likely with some 3m tape/glue. So my question is for those with the same type car that has fenderwell trim, how does it attach if its oem stuff?

Nah. The fenderwell trim I ordered isn't the same as on the car. The trim I orderd is a black steel steel type that doesn't cover the entire fender. The trim that is on the car is more of a black plastic type that covers all the way down to the rocker trim. He's a pic of them so you can see what I mean (I hope). Basically I just need to find a match for the right front to match the other three already on there.....
