Youve got a lot to learn. Dont take it like its a huge cement wall to get over. Engines are actually a simple conept. Its like algebra, you can do it all day in your sleep once you UNDERSTAND it. Its the same way with motors.

All I can say is sift through the threads and click on anything you dont understand and read the posts. Sure, it all looks like its written in German at first. But once you get the idea, youll know what righ questions youll need to ask. I promise that once you can figure that out, most of your answers are already written on the forum.

I have stuf already laye dout for you.

Start here

Then here

Also here.

Lastly here.

That should get you started.

Here is a good place to start: http://www.beesandgoats.com/boostfaq/g2icturbo.html

IMO I think that you should learn how to drive before you go putting a turbo on your car

I think you're better off learning how to drive your car around town first, before you slap a turbo on it and have a LOT more power than you're probably ready for.

I'm driving a 210whp civic, and let me tell you, it's beyond a handful.

Howstuffworks is a wonderful site.

If you get anything out of you're research, learn that no car is going to be fast or reliable without a good TUNE! FMUs are not a tune, do not use them.

^+1

Learn how to drive a normal car safely before you even try to drive a hi-power car. The last thing we need is a green driver on the road with a 200hp car. That's how people die... it's tempting enough to screw around with a slow car when you frist get your liscense...

"slapping" on a turbo is a VERY loose term. its more like scientificating a turbo on your car
