Default Navigator vs. Integra

I had my first race in a LONG while today.

it was from a stoplight, nuthing big or long.

I just wanted to prevent the navigator beside me from getting in front of me and cutting me off before the two lane road turned into one.

to make a long story short. I got the hole shot.

he had a BIG MOTOR, and almost pulled in front of me, before I pulled into third and got in front of him enough to make him give up. I briefly looked at the guy before shifting. it was a G.I. just getting off from work.

it was over mid-way into third gear. stoopid, but fun.

BTW, my car's engine made high-revving DOHC noises that i long to hear again...

it was the integra. i sold the civic a couple weeks ago, because the integra is a ton more fun to drive.

i'm gonna freak when the car eventually dies on me, since I'm not really diggin' RSXs (my friend just bought one).

perhaps an s2000 is in my future? lol.

my friend that bought the RSX came pretty damm close to buying a used s2000 from CarMax.

I was hoping he did, so I could drive it but he was intimidated by the car. damm.

I love great-handling cars...

i had an 03 WRX. it was FAST, but it didn't handle all that well IMO.

it had tenacious grip but that doesn't equal to good handling. it had lots of body roll and the steering was kind of incommunicative.
