Default Dare I Paint It???

so i bought this head unit yesterday for my car:

It's pretty nice, because it not only has a direct connection to my iPod but also has a thumbdrive USB input slot on the front.

I like it a lot, but not the silver trim plate around the outside since my dash is black.

should I dare spray paint the trim plate black? I already know i can't order a black one, since it's not offered.

if i do paint it, what kind of paint? Krylon???

suggestions???

HELP A BROTHA OUT HERE!!1

if you hate burning CDs, then this is the deck for you.

true iPod connectivity (which enables menu functions on the deck face) and USB music file playing, in both .MP3 and .WMA format.

I got mine off of circuitcity.com.

they got a sale goin' on right now, if you buy iPod-ready changers online.

I got it for $150. you'll also need a universal adapter and MAYBE a tray kit.

but installation is free if you buy a deck over $99 at circuit city, even if you buy it online.

I also forgot to mention the optional $50 iPod direct connection kit. pricey, but it's well worth it if you're a heavy iPod user like me.

it lets you scroll through menu functions on your deck and also charges your iPod when you turn your radio on.

but if you have a big thumbdrive, you could just get by with that and skip the iPod kit.
