Thats up to you. When ym clutch went I decided to jsut replace everything with aftermarket parts. I Put in a exedy Stage one clutch and a Fidanza lightweight flywheel and a new throwout bearing.

are there any clutches out there that make it very easy to take off? i find it hard to take off in my civic. my friend got a new clutch in his focus and its VERY easy to get off to a good start off the line. just curious to know if any of you guys out there with exedy clutches find it easier to take off than with your stock clutch.

Obviously thats the whole point of aftermarket clutches lol. You might loose some power going up hills because of the lighter weight components. And towing force wont be as good depending on the kind you get, (such as 4 people in the car with groceries in the trunk).

the thing i dont like about the honda clutches is that there so damn deep. are there any you would recommend that would make it REALLY easy to take off. i mean easier than usual. cuz my friend burnt his clutch out and the replacement one they gave him at his mechanic lets out all gay and its easier to stall then it is to take off so i guess thats what im really worried about.

hey guyss when u go froma stock clucth to a stage 1 clucth what all do u have to change......

If you get a clutch kit you should get the clutch plate, a pressure plate, and throwout bearing. I would recommend getting a flywheel if you were ever planning on replacing that because thats easy to do at the same time. Also check your pilot bearing.... since thats right on the flywheel too, and replace that if you need to at the same time.

WTF? I think there would be less rotating momentum so it would slow down sooner when you let off the gas, but you wouldn't LOSE power.
