DC Sports Short Throw Adapter

Vehicle: 2004 Civic LX
Product: DC Sports Short Throw Adapter
Vendor: Local Shop
Cost: $70 (I got it for free w/$20 to install)
Rating: ********** (9 of 10)
Install Time: About 15 minutes.

It is awesome but there is not much to say about it... I can take a picture of the box it came in but I cant really take a picture of the short shifter because it is in the car now... I totally reccomend this to anyone! The shifting on my civic is now TOTALLY different and whole shift itself went waaay long to maybe a couple inches between... It is hard to explain the difference but there is a HUGE difference... I barely move my hand now. AWESOME!!!

*NOTE* This is only a throw adapter so it does nothing but adjust the travel of the shift and does very little to shorten the height of the OEM stick. That reduces score by one star.

I was hoping someone would do a review on one of these since I'm planing on getting one soon. What knob are you using, a DC sport one or something else?

My shifter is a knock off MOMO raptor... I am eventually going to get a new boot and knob but that is more cosmetic money i dont feel like wasting right now.

Did you get the actual short shift lever or adapter?

Oh...I think that is called a short throw adapter, so you didn't replace your stock lever?

I would suspect that it matters but I don't know, I looked on www.aempower.com also and they don't have one for your year either so I guess they don't have one for your car?
