If you plan on doing your own HID retrofit or DIY dual halos you should go for the 80 bucks ones... but seriously... $80 and you're asking me if they are good quality?

As for the retrofitting I would reccommend buying two sets of the $80 headlights because they are cheap and using one as a practice. The retrofit takes ALOT of time so taking it to a shop would probably run you much more than you ever hoped to spend. There is a guy on another forum with retrofitted projector housings w/dual halo (all hand made and beautiful) and it took him about 3 weeks total... he is wanting to sell them to me for $300 USED!

You should join a bunch of different forums and post on the Wanted sections and ask for a used set... that'd be the easiest way when you really want specific because everybody wants to sell their stuff sometime

wow... they look nice. pardon my ignorant question, but I'm new to HID, do you replace the whole headlight assembly to stick the HID kit inside? or you just replace the reflector and everything? + do you have to rewire something? I heard HID kits use their own ballast?  Can you DIY this? or you have to bring your car to a shop?
