im not trippin but i dont feel like racing and stuff, i would rather just have hella people come together and talk about cars and show what they got, cause none of the people i kick it with care about cars. so i dont know, but i dont think that anyone is going to go to a meet cause no one ever follows through with it. so eh.

Not true.....just don't expect peeps to drop everything and meet up with a days notice. Usually a month in advance allows most folks to plan.....then only 1/2 no show.
Another thing is to link a get together (GTG) with another event...say meet up at the parking lot before a car show...or meet up for lunch before the drag strip...etc...
I'm in the city everyday (for work) and wouldn't want to drive back out at night.....but the weekend would be cool...Maybe a detail day where everyone shares their car wash and polishing secrets....

you do realize the body roll on your car is like you're auto-xing a conversion van?
Infineon raceway near Vallejo (closer to Sonoma though) would be a kick ass meet. they have drag racing on wednesdays i think. it would only be a few hours if it was a wednesday, but it should be cool.

when I went up to norcal last time to visit my family, we had a few meets with norcalcivic...i did one at the sunvalley mall in concord/pleasant hill....the second time we had a meet we met up in sacramento, which is kinda far, but i guess it was cool...
but yeah, i would think that concord area would be kinda centered for people...but damn, everything is so spread out up there...=/
