Its perfectly safe to turbo any engine, just make sure youve got a great fuel and fuel management system, getting hooked up with a good tune is 110% key to making youre turbocharged car RELIABLE.

RE: turbo on d15b
i wouldnt turbo that motor if your looking for a lot of horsepower..isnt that the 70hp motor?? thats gonna be like my motor stock when you run your 5lbs of boost on it..

RE: turbo on d15b
I disagree. Theres a guy locally running a boosted d15b that pulls just as strong as my boosted y8. Granted he's running a bigger turbo and a more aggressive tune.

RE: turbo on d15b
It all depends on the version of the D15B, (i am pulling this part out of my ass, if it is wrong someone please correct me)the D15B8 has 72 bhp, the D15B2(vx motor) has 92hp, the D15B7 has 102hp. but with boost on any of them you can still make a decent amount of power
