What is this? and can it be removed?

I believe that is meant to trap any water that could get in the intake but your is upside down and now useless. It can be removed if you have something to plug it with.

it just rigged. its like two intakes rigged together. half stock half APC. it should not hurt anything as this is just a resonator...

Engine and in-man look good in the blue though!
