Default maintence required light

my maintence required light blinks for 10 seconds when i start my car... i looked in the manual and it said that it means that its been 8,000 miles since the last maintence and that when it gets to 10,000 miles since last maintence the light will stay light....i already got a new air filter....but what else do i need to do and how do i reset the maintence light?

You have the manual. Why don't you just read it? It has the answers.

Your manual has about 200 pages probably. And some of those pages are devoted to maintenance and light reset. Try to find them, it's not that hard to do.

OK, looks like you don't know how to read.
My 03 Civic owners manual has maintenace tables listing all necessary replacements/changes/inspections/adjustments on pages 159-162.
Maint. req'd indicator reset is described on page 62.

Don't know about 94 teg and maint req'd light. Tend to think it did not have one, only check engine. And its manual does said about what should be done on what mileage in terms of maintanence, I'm sure.
I migth have been too rude to the guy, but questions that are answered in manual do piss me off sometimes. RTFM before you aks, dude!
