My Honda civic Vti sir and my mates Vti saloon were both out on a cruise one night wen we spotted some headlights approaching our rear rapidly it attempted to overtake me in the sir it passed me but never made it passed the saloon which was already dropping a gear after seein wat happened they were side by side for some time. me being behind realised it was a tuned fiat punto GT Turbo so i caught up the saloon was already creating a distance ahead of the punto so i thought i would do the same, the whirling of the dump valve and wastegates on the punto were drowned out by 2 v tecs overtaking, i pulled back alongside my friend in his vti and spotted yet another vehicle approaching with the punto (he had called some friends). next thing we knew we had an RX 7 to compete with. it blew past us and drastic measures were takin to prevent fatal embarrament. i dropped the sir 2 down a gear my friend doing the same and proceeded to chase the rx7 we pulled alongside the rx7 one on each side whilst blaring out of the sound systems i had some random tecno my friend had boy george kama kama kama kama chamilion lol as a piss take, the rx7 was not amused and attempted to race away, but little did he no our civics are not standard and we then decided to end the chase by pulling ahead blowing passed a speed check at which point the boys in blue caught the rx7 whilst we were still increasing pase to a steady 120 mph :D and thats about it a usual night out in town for Tez and Luke (V tec crew) . . . . . . . . . .. . ..

was it a fc or fd rx7?

The NA fc are sweet cars, but theyre not all that fast. My friend with the 88 alltrac (pat) and my friend with the 87 rx7 (kevin) went head to head in a high speed run. The alltrac has an oem clutch so he couldnt do launches w/out the chance of slipping the clutch, but he would kill the rx7 if it was to hold at 5-6k drop like them awd cars do. Anyway, they started off of the end of an on-ramp. The alltrac just zoomed pass the rx7 and then he hit fuel cut. lol. After resetting it, they went at it again, the alltrac zooming pass him after the onramp. At around 80-85mph, the rx7 wanted to do a pull, so they got at it. The alltrac was already on top of 3rd so Pat just kept it in 4th. Pat was pulling away slowly even after hearing kevin downshift to 3rd to slow down the increasing gap between them.

Not an awfull lot done to the civics my hatchback has got a spoon ecu power boost valve chrome forced air intake full system magnaflow exhaust thats about it for now


the saloon has got a k&n airfilter cammed and a piggy back chip and a roken exhaust still shifts though engines both sweet

Pretty sure it was an FC rx7 but i wernt stickin around to find out wen the police turned up lol

i used to own a fc3s... and i would run most cars on the street that were NA... i wrecked into a 84 300zx( first year made :-( ) because i was being stupid and tail gating... ( you really learn a lesson after a wreck, but i had to pay to learn it) and then i put an alluminom hood and dropped in a brand new clutch in it and i got it weighed and i was at 2375 or 2475 one of the other and pushing 160 hp ... at 8000 rpm redline and a shift indicator... it was pretty beast... i took b16 civics with ease... and tegs ... so i find the fact that your sohc vtec took the fc... ****ty driver?, or ****ed up clutch, all altreks all awd turbos... = beast... they are light as **** so they have advantages... your friends was non turbo right... depending on the year is going to depend on the type of 13b series engine in it, tranny and the weight of it....
