i have a 1994 honda civic lx 4 door automatic and need to replace the engine how much does an engine cost

check out your local car lots, like junk yards and see ifhtey have any, pro bly like 400- 900. for the stock on that was in your car. are u looking for high speeds or for an everyday driver?

yep. well i just blew up my d15b7 but i alredy swapped in a jdm d15b. it feels alot faster so that ran me about 770 for motor ecu and shipping. but that's just me

a JDM d15b would be a sweet upgrade and it would feel quite a bit faster.

to get a mechanic to replace it would cost anywhere from 500 to upwards of 2 grand. its not that hard of a job...you could probably do it yourself.
