People were telling me that the apexi n1 turbo was a sweet sounding muffler. I am lookin for a cat back system that will give me a fairly loud sound but i want that deep low throaty sound. What should i buy to give me the loud but deep throaty sound sound im looking for. Also does any one know of anywhere i can go to hear sound clips of exhausts besides magnaflow?

dynomax will give you a low toned throaty sound, as will a cherry bomb turbo. currently on my car im running a cherry bomb turbo and even with the underpowered d15b6 it still puts out some deep sound.

you need to take a look at some of the other forums they mention many different kinda. I would not go for the Apexi, but i kno that the TSUDO full cat back exhaust has a deep throaty sound that you are looking for and is cheap, another one that is HIGHLY recomended is the Greddy EVO cat back exhaust it does the same thing though it a little more exspensive, getting just a plain muffler with out the whole cat back system will probably give you a sound like a "pissed off lawnmower" and we all kno that on a civic that is something that you dont wont considering that is what everyone expects you (a civic owner) to have. Another one that i kno is decent is the Flowmaster cat back, take a look at those they would be your best buy.

I have checked out a bunch of different exhausts now. I just need a few more opinions on a fairly loud, deep throaty exhaust. I dont want one of the exhausts that have that almost rattling static noise at high rpm. ( u know what im talkin about when u hear a cheap exhaust that is just ANNOYING) Jst give me a little more opinions, Thanx a lot everyone.

put it this way... if the exhaust system cost less than $100, most likely it will sound like that. You might find one here and there, but its pretty rare.
