Default RACED A HONDA!!

Today i was out cruising around in my z24 when i caught up with an old friend, and hes driving a 90 dx hatchback with a d16 abd some mods nothing big and he asked me if i wanted to race, so i figured wat the hell, so we jump on the bypass and im running at about 55mph and hes behind me so we slow down to a slow 40-45 mph and he jumps next to me we slow even more so that we got plenty of room out in front of us, now im in third, he beeps and i beep back i slam it in 2nd and chirp the tires and were about even i redline at about 5500 and hit third and pull on him by like a fender, he slowly regains on me at about 75 mph and i hit 4th and pull hard, now i got about a car and a half on him and im doing 100 and he jump behind me and gives up, so we cruise to the local wawa to get gas and he asked me wat i got done to it and when i told him it was stock he just about **** himself...............

You redlined at 5,500? I am glad I never decided to buy a Z24. His car must have been an automatic. I don't own a Honda, so it is safe to say I don't have a V-TEC either. Even in my car I usually don't shift until 6,950rpm. Unless it's att he track, then I shift at 7,150rpm. COW-valiers are slow, even Z24's, just like their SUN-flower counterparts, even the GT's.

They are slow, and what low end torque are you talking about? The older V-6 GT Cavaliers were quick, but by no means fast. My car is quick, for a 4 cyl ZETEC, but by no means fast. MTX 95 Civic Hatch with a B18 swap and full bolt-ons, CAMS and tuning is quick, but by no means fast. Your'e car just happens to be slower than the rest.
