Default 07 Si

So I have a bit of an issue right now.

I called my Honda dealer. Ive done business with them since I bought my civic. I called to check on an 07 4-door Si. They have one. I can buy it today. I have the financing whenever I need it. I refuse tho to pay OVER sticker for the vehicle. I also dont want all the stupid dealer crap that they put on the car. I told the guy I would come down right now and buy the car if they would sell it to me at MSRP. I figured that would be reasonable enough. The guy refused. Im like whatever....ill wait a year. My Civic is running like a top. No problems here. I always wanted a 4-door Si tho. The money over MSRP is not worth it unless they throw in a full bumper to bumper 100k mile warranty for free.

Am I being B*tchy?

Theyre wanting to put mud guards, tint, sunroof visor, pin stripes AND they want 2500 over that.

I want one fresh off the truck and Ill take it at MSRP.

It is also that each dealership may only get a few SI sedans where as they get alot more of the plain EX, LX, DX sedans. It is also a new model because i looked at the 06 si and the dealer said that there was to be no negotiations and I would have to pay the sticker price if I wanted it because there was a waiting list. If the dealership still has it on their lot in like 2 weeks to a month maybe less, then I would go back and make an offer, because the dealerships are going to want to reduce of their invetory before the snow comes.

We dont have a snow problem in AZ.

I know how the dealers work. They make it sound urgent. Its not really. I can wait for a new car.

I am still debating on this.

One of my close friends works for UAG which this Honda dealer is part of. He works in the Porshe dealer. He is gonna pull a power play for me and get me a blue one at MSRP. Apparently they listen to the higher end car dealers in the corporation.

The payment will proabaly go up significantly, but I can afford it.
