i have a friend who has a 90 nissan 240sx with a sr20det, i have a 93 civic hatch b18c1 swap its also turboed so hes always talkin **** about the hondas he call vtec fagtec so i finally got my civic finshed so i challange him to a race so we met up at the 6 mile strait away by my house he talks some more **** and finally its time to go so we do a 30 mph roll i get a good jump right away i smoke his ass at least 5 car lengths at about 115 mph finally i get about 7 or 8 car lengths and hit 135 or so. so i let off and he starts making mad excuses the next day he finally gave me props and he respects the hondas heres the funny part he just bought a 95 civic hatch back lol so i made him a beliver!

thats great! a guy i work with was the same way about his mustang...calling hondas gay and what not, then i smoked him...

People are always bashing on my civic at school. They focus so much on the HP and not the weight. This kid with a 1990 300ZX non-turbo says I wont ever be able to beat him, even after I get my turbo setup. I am pretty sure I will eat him up after I get my turbo, since the stock 1990 300ZX's run about a 15.5 1/4 mile, and a stock 93 civic ex will run a 16.5 or so. I just cant wait to shut him up. Its hard for a honda to get some respect.

there is an inherent problem with Honda's they are front wheel drive economy cars that were never designed to be fast. Thank god for the amazing engineering that goes in to the little rice rockets the suspension geometry is almost perfect and incredibly well designed the engines are very efficient (its easy to move from economy efficient to power efficiency) i like a fast civic cause lets put 5 gallons of gas in the tank and do an endurance race hehehehe and as for fwd It just isn't that big of an issue nowadays cause technology has overcame weight transfer with suspension.....

And besides honda makes a vehicle faster than a Bugatti Veyron

it does 500mph and has a range of about 5000 miles on a single tank of gas

I think the reason most people hate Honda's is because of what you said. They are just meant to be little economy cars that are slow. I love seeing mustangs and V8 cars like that getting killed by little civics. I cant imagine owning any other car besides a Honda.
