Default Newbie 2006 upgrade question.....

I bought a 2006 Civic LX this past summer and I love it. I was Searching all around this site but can't find anything specific about getting more engine power. Car does drag a little when trying to merge onto a highway. Is there anywhere I can go on the site to provide anything others have tried, with success, on upgrading a 2006 engine?

Thanks,
Howard

Default RE: Newbie 2006 upgrade question.....

you can get an intake and cat back exhuast...you will get a pretty sweet sound, and about 5 hp more, you can notice a little bit of a diffrence, price on ebay. about $325 (both combined) if you want even more, you can get a header, wich will add a couple more hp. also, aftermarket intake manifold. a pully kit will free up a a few more hp. those are just a few of the things that you can do without getting to far in the engine...

also, you could remove things you dont need... eg. spare tire, back seat, etc. but i wouldnt do that if its your daily driver.
