Default will 205/15/50's fit (rota c8's)

I was wondering if these will fit on a stock suspension without rubbing or will I need a spacer. I'd like to get a little better traction and braking out of my mostly stock vx. Also, someone also told me that running a wider tire is worse in the rain. Would this be too much on the car. It's your standard fall/winter tire, nothing special...
