'05 civic SE 6 disc cd player not working properly
 

i just bought a 6 disc indash cd player that belonged to a 2005 civic SE. it was working fine when I bought it used but I just installed it and the cd option doesn't work. i'm installing it on my 2005 civic EX coupe. when i press the load button, it says "busy" and doesn't want to load the discs. anyone knows what's going on?

besides unplugged the battery, is there another way to reset this factory radio?

Only thing I can suggest is looking in the manual, they usualy have a large section of audio, and or call a honda dealer. I had some issues with my CR-V and a 6 minute phone call cleared me right up!

Wish I knew more.

Well, my problem was the code that you need after you pop the battery cable off. I called a dealer and they fixed me right up, just needed the serial number and some information from me.

The dealers are pretty quick with that sort of information, because they probably get several calls a week regarding the same issues. If you contact a dealer you will probably at least get pointed in the right direction to fix the issue. Maybe they know of some sort of re-set that we don't.

my car's under warranty. if I go to the dealer and pretend the radio came with the car, think they'll find out that it didn't come with the car and that I got it off another car?
